one of the most versatile mediums, and one of the least toxic. 

dries into durable surface to which subsequent layers of paint can be added

Acrylic paints are a commonly used paint found most places
for example, in schools, art shops, studios, craft shops, crazy stores, etc.

toymakers use acrylic paint to paint their toys with foolproof techniques

Chalk

a form of limestone, it is soft & porous

handle with care, do not get wet

Found at the chalkboard in classrooms
for example, the dust that collects under the chalkboard

toymakers use chalk & chalk dust to create rust textures

Clothes Pegs

AKA clothespin

wooden or plastic fastener used to hang up clothes for drying

found on clotheslines or in laundries.
for example, outside where your laundry dries

toymakers use of clothes pegs most commonly when glueing things together

Elastic Rubber Bands

A loop of rubber, usually ring-shaped,

commonly used to hold multiple objects together.

Many items from the grocery store that require constant  opening & closing
for example, coffee tins, peanut butter jars,

Podge can be harder to find, but easy to make.

best known as white glue, carpenter’s glue, school glue or Elmers glue.

it is an aliphatic rubbery synthetic polymer

wood glue is common and can be found everywhere
for example, hardware stores, pick n pay, walmart, game, cna, etc.
