About Us
Our Mission
Free Toys For Life was founded in 2019 on the shores of Africa.
Troubled by the growing poverty and trash epidemic in the world, the Toymaker was born. Adapting animation techniques used in video games, the Toymaker illustrates in 6 easy to follow steps on how to transform trash into toys. Rather than use 1’s & 0’s, the Toymaker uses straws, plastic bags, etc. and common household items to create realistic-looking toys.

What we are doing
The primary resource in toymaking is rubbish. To avoid being unhygienic, Toymakers do not dig through the bin. They change their habits. Do not throw away useful toy building resources. Keep all packaging from groceries, along with other single use plastic items, like straws. If dirty, wash resources as soon as possible.
By adopting this new mindset of repurposing single use plastic items & other trash, Toymaker are able to stop the flow of rubbish into the ocean.
Better yet, because our toys are made of trash, that means the more toys we make – the less trash there is in the environment. Saving the world, one toy at a time.
The Toymakers have hundreds of planned free toys. These are themed and involve an assortment of difficulty levels: tutorial, beginner, intermediate, advanced & professional. Themes vary from the Medieval Ages to Ancient Greece, from the Wild West to the Far East, Wonder’s of the World to Famous Landmarks.
All of the plans will be uploaded on this website, along with a series of videos for each toy hosted on Youtube. All of these are free to access. Anyone, anywhere, can be a Toymaker.
Please help support Toymakers around the world. Every donation received goes towards providing free toymaking kits to low-income schools and developing more free-to-access designs.
